Even though the painting demonstration is not being recorded outdoors for technical reasons and I am painting from a photo (as a one-time exception!), plein air painting is still the focus of the course.<\/p>\n<p>The focus is on working quickly so that you can later paint the changing motif outside within 1-2 hours.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll show you how to simplify a motif and learn to focus on the essentials.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\"><br \/><\/span>With \u201cguided\u201d painting, i.e., working on the painting together step by step, I would like to encourage you to forego preliminary sketches, work on large areas, and thus develop a relaxed, uninhibited painting style.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Trust the Process!<\/h5>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; it is too different from painting in a studio.<\/p>\n<p>My workshops therefore focus on the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How do I set up my studio in the open air?<\/li>\n<li>What should I bear in mind when looking for a subject?<\/li>\n<li>How do I manage to paint fleeting light moods or constantly moving motifs?<\/li>\n<li>How can I simplify what I have seen?<\/li>\n<li>How do I find &#8220;shortcuts&#8221; when painting to be fast enough before my motif changes too much?<\/li>\n<li>How do I judge and mix the colors I see in front of me to reflect the mood on location?<\/li>\n<li>How do I create depth in my paintings?<\/li>\n<li>How do I transport an oil painting while it is still wet?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I&#8217;ll show you how you can learn to get to the point quickly with the help of small color sketches &#8211; and how you can implement what you&#8217;ve learned in your larger plein air painting.<\/p>\n<p>We paint in Frankfurt in the parks and the surrounding area.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Individual lessons:<\/h5>\n<p>Duration by arrangement (3-5 hours) &#8211;
